Description : Educational Visit Science field trip on 16 and 18 April, class VIII As Pragyan is imparting education through various live demonstrations/activities to clear the concepts of the topics. In that series we organized a field trip for class VIII to clear the topic of crop production in science subject, our science teachers Mr. Nauhraj Singh, Mr. Dev Gautam and Mr. Naresh Kumar went with the students. There students saw various crops, horticultural crops and processing of various crop produces like cube cutting and drying of “Chikory” which add flavor to coffee and chocolate products. The teachers explained/ demonstrated all these to the students. The implements’ like plough tractor, trolley, Harrow, Cultivator, Rutavator, Leveller, Harvester, Hoe, sicale, Trowel, Seedrill and Sugarcane crasher etc were shown. Some of them were shown by operating as how they work. Besides these the students were shown live dairy farming with high milk yielding species of cows and buffaloes. It was a very fruitful trip.
