Description : Pragyan Public School, Jewar proudly hosted a Skill Development Workshop under the aegis of the Skill Education Department, CBSE, bringing together principals and educators from various schools for a meaningful day of learning, collaboration, innovation, and professional enrichment. The workshop was graced by the esteemed presence of Mrs. Parul Sharma, Principal, J.P. International School; Mr. Raj Kumar Gupta, Principal, N.R. Public School; Dr. Priyanka Sharma, Principal, Pragyan International School, Dudhhera; Mrs. Gunjan Atri, Principal, The Divine Mother International School; Mrs. Harvinder Kaur, Principal, Sardar Patel School, Dankaur; and Mrs. Indu Sharma, Principal, Noida International School. Ms. Ekta Soni, Principal, Sapphire International School, Ghaziabad, served as the Keynote Speaker, while Dr. Deepti Sharma, Principal, Pragyan Public School, Jewar, chaired the workshop. The programme commenced with a warm welcome of the distinguished guests, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolising the illumination of knowledge, wisdom, and learning. The workshop featured insightful sessions on: Experiential & Activity-Based Learning Innovative Teaching Strategies Industry–School Collaboration Practical Skill Development CBSE Skill Education Framework Ms. Ekta Soni emphasised the significance of experiential learning and practical skill development in preparing students for the evolving demands of the professional and industrial world. In her presidential address, Dr. Deepti Sharma highlighted that skill education plays a vital role in nurturing competent, confident, and self-reliant learners, preparing them to embrace the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow. Guided by the vision “Skills for Life, Skills for India,” the workshop served as a meaningful platform for educators to learn, exchange ideas, collaborate, and strengthen skill-based education.
