Description : Pragyan Public School, Jewar, successfully organised an awareness programme under the 'Drug-Free Youth for Developed India' campaign on Tuesday. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp before the idol of Goddess Saraswati by the Chief Guest and Resource Person Mr. Mayank Garg (Founder, Mind Craft Academy; President, Youth Counselling Club; and Social Worker), School Manager Dr. Harish Kumar Sharma, Treasurer Mr. Amol Kumar Sharma, and Dr. Priyanka Sharma. The dignitaries were warmly welcomed and honoured with bouquets, saplings, and mementoes. Addressing the students, Chief Guest and Resource Person Mr. Mayank Garg highlighted the harmful effects of substance abuse on an individual's health, family, and future. He encouraged students to stay away from drugs and adopt a disciplined, value-based, and healthy lifestyle. He emphasized that aware and responsible youth are the strongest foundation for a developed India. School Manager Dr. Harish Kumar Sharma stated that the school's objective is not only to provide quality education but also to nurture moral values and social responsibility among students. He remarked that substance abuse has become a serious challenge for today's youth, and awareness programmes like this play a vital role in guiding students towards the right path. He expressed confidence that the students would be inspired to remain drug-free and contribute actively to building a developed India. The programme concluded with a collective pledge by students and teachers to support the vision of a "Drug-Free India – Developed India." The school fraternity described the campaign as a significant step towards creating social awareness and promoting a healthy, responsible society.
