Description : 50 girl students from Classes 9th and 11th (Academics & DB) of Pragyan Public School, Jewar, participated in a deeply meaningful plantation drive titled “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam”, organized by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) at Dayanatpur. The event was graced by several eminent personalities including Hon’ble Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Shri Nitin Gadkari, who served as the Chief Guest. The occasion also witnessed the esteemed presence of Dr. Mahesh Sharma, Member of Parliament from Gautam Buddha Nagar; Shri Thakur Dhirendra Singh, MLA from Jewar; Shri Ajay Tamta, State Transport Minister; and Mr. Santosh Yadav, Chairman of NHAI. Their encouraging words inspired the students and reinforced the importance of environmental conservation and personal responsibility. Accompanied by their teachers the students actively took part in the plantation drive, each one planting a sapling with care and devotion. The event was a perfect blend of emotional connection and ecological commitment, instilling in the students a sense of pride and responsibility.
