Description : Pragyan Public School held a grand celebration “Vijayotsava-Swarnim Path ki Ore” in honor of Ex- Pragyanite Paralympic Champion Praveen Kumar who won Gold Medal in Paris Paralympic 2024. The school welcomed the Paralympic champion with a grand entry, as students, faculty, and staff gathered to cheer and show their admiration. In a heartfelt gesture Pragyan presented cheque of One Lakh Eleven Thousand rupees to Praveen Kumar. Adding to the spirit of the celebration was a vibrant cultural program organized by the students. The performances included traditional dances, musical renditions and energetic Play(Journey from Silver to Gold), each carefully chosen to honor the champion’s journey and the values of strength, resilience and diversity. The cultural program served as a heartfelt tribute, with students expressing their admiration through art, music, and dance. Sensational Martial Art (Taekwondo Act),Theme Dance(value of teacher),Eternal Union of Cultural Expression of Radha Kishan,Mythological Enthralling (Ram Leela) were some attractions of the event.The Honorable Manager Mr.Harish Kumar Sharma expressed gratitude for the Paralympian’s inspiring presence and reaffirmed the school’s commitment to inclusivity and excellence in sports.The Principal Ms.Deepti Sharma delivered a speech highlighting Praveen Kumar’s perseverance, hard work and dedication. During the celebration, the Paralympic athlete Praveen Kumar shared his personal journey, challenges and the unyielding determination it took to reach the Paralympic Games. The students listened intently, visibly moved by his story of resilience.The Chief Guest Mr.Shri Chand Sharma praised the school and said that it's very good that Pragyan encourages every student to rise above challenges and I feel hopeful about the incredible potential of its young minds.The school also presented the champion and the esteemed guests beautiful cards ,saplings and momentos as tokens of appreciation.The event, filled with enthusiasm and pride, aimed to not only recognize Praveen ft Kumar’s accomplishments but also to inspire students to pursue their dreams, regardless of the obstacles they may face.
