Description : 20th September,2024 Pragyan Public School Jewar organized a workshop on 'Early Childhood Education' for the teachers of Pre-Primary and Primary Wings today on 20th Sep 2024. The workshop began with the holy ritual of kindling the lamp of lights illuminating the knowledge and seeking the blessings of Goddess of knowledge Maa Saraswati.The session began with a warm welcome of the organizer Mr Oswald, National Sales Head Mr.Rajeev Mukherjee and Resource Person Ms Akshita Nigam ( TUK PUBLICATIONS) by the school Principal Mrs Deepti Sharma and the School Manager Mr Harish Kumar Sharma.All eminent guests were honored by presenting Saplings and Cards.The Resource Person Ms Akshita Nigam conducted an interactive PPT presentation on “Early Childhood Education”.She stressed upon the importance of Physical, Social, Emotional and Cognitive development of children.She told the teachers that how playway method plays a significant role in Early Childhood Education.Ms.Akshita impressed upon the teachers and the divine significance of their roles, purpose and responsibilities, which when assumed effectively, help shape the destiny of the little ones. The teachers were encouraged to share their everyday classroom challenges and how they coped with the same. She inspired the teachers to become "a brave lamp that shines amidst storm." Next she emphasized on the 'Importance of stories and story time' for the students.She also highlighted the effects of storytelling on a child's emotional development. The workshop was quite enlightening and informative. All the Primary and Pre-Primary teachers actively participated in the games and activities and learnt a lot.
