Description : Pragyan Public school organized Inter House Judo & Badminton Competition for the students of PPS & PIS (Classes VI to XII Judo) (Class VI to VIII - Badminton) on 2nd September. The Vision behind this was to develop the Fitness & Creative skills in the students by using their physical & mental strength.The competition was initiated with the lamp lightning by Honorable Manager Mr.Harish Kumar Sharma,the Principal Ms.Deepti Sharma, Treasurer Mr. Amol Kumar Sharma and HOD Physical Education Mr. Gajendra Yadav.Students from Gandhi,R.K,Nehru,Tagore, Vivekananda and Kamal houses took part in this competition.The students showcased their training,talents, discipline and also incredible resilience and strategy.In Badminton Under 14 boys,Dev Jindal of R.K.House got 1st position and Toyash of Nehru House got 2nd position.In Under 14 girls,Diksha of Kalam House grabbed 1st position and Payal of Gandhi House grabbed 2nd position.In another event of Under 17 boys, Ayan of Gandhi House came with 1st position and Abhishek of Tagore House came with 2nd position as well as In Under 17 girl’s competition,Sweta of R.K.House achieved 1st position and Manvi of Tagore House achieved 2nd position.In Judo Competition, Sohil of Kalam House got 1st position in Under 11 40 kg and Lakshya Bhardwaj got 2nd position.In Under 14, 40 kg Piyush of R.K.House achieved 1st position and ,Ishant of Kalam House got 2nd position .In Under 17,Shahbaj of R.K. bagged 1st position and Ranjan of Gandhi House bagged 2nd position. This competition was a great medium to bring together students from various houses in a spirited display of skill, strength and sportsmanship. It concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where the winning houses were awarded trophies and certificates. The event was a testament to the school’s commitment to fostering sportsmanship and teamwork among its students.
