Description : The primary wing of Pragyan Public school celebrated Janmashtami with great joy and enthusiasm on 24' August,2024.The event was organized in the school hall. The celebration began with a special assembly where students sang devotional songs and recited prayers. Teachers explained the significance of Janmashtami, which marks the birth of Lord Krishna, one of the most beloved deities in Hindu mythology.A short skit depicting scenes from Lord Krishna’s life, including the famous “Makhan Chori” (butter stealing) episode, was performed. The students wore traditional outfits, with some dressed as little Krishna and Radha. The students enjoyed the performance and cheered loudly.After the skit, a group dance was performed to the tune of popular Krishna bhajans. The vibrant music and energetic dance moves brought the spirit of Janmashtami alive. The tiny tots participated in a “Matki Phod” (breaking the pot) event, where they formed human pyramids to break a clay pot hung high. The day was filled with happiness, devotion, and learning about our rich culture and traditions.The Janmashtami celebration in the primary wing was a huge success, thanks to the hard work of the teachers and the enthusiasm of the students. It was a day of fun and spirituality, leaving everyone with fond memories.
