Description : Grand Annual Sports Meet 2015 The Annual Sports Meet of Pragyan Public School was held from 2nd Nov. to 4th Nov. 2015. The Play ground was specially prepared and decorated for the occasion. The inaugural Ceremoney was performed by the Honourable S.D.M of Jewar Shri S.K. Mishra following the tradition of the school the lamp was lighted before Goddess Saraswati by the chief guest with the help of Pragyan’s Principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma and Manager sir Mr. Harish sir. The other honourable guests were Honourable Sanjay Kumar Ji (Tahasildar). The Honourale Mod. Ali Ji (Nayab Tahasildar). The Honourable Prinicipal mam and Manager sir gave them a warm welcome by presenting them beautiful bouquet. The chief guest flew white dove, spreading the message of peace and declared the opening of 2015 annual sports meet. The main attraction of the day was the grand parade with fabulous. Sound of band played by the students. The school play ground was filled with festive spirit, frolicsome atmosphere and was brimming with enthusiasm and sports-manship. On the wings (Primary, Junior and Senior) were exhibited with tremendous amount of Zeal and spirit. From primary wing the main attraction was ‘Yoga’. From junior wing the attractive making of Star and flower was performed and from senior wing Dumble Hoop and Lazium drills were performed by the students of class IX, X, XI and XII. There was a great enthusiasm all around as athletic events like various races (100 m, 200 m., 400m. 800m. and hooping race) were conducted. All these eventrs were organized with the help of the PTI’s (Mr. Farid Alam, Javed, Mukesh and Neeraj Talan) of the school. Anchoring was done by Mr. K.P. Singh and Mrs. Bosky other them senior wing incharge Mrs. Meenakashi, Shailendra Singh, Deeraj Singh and all teachers of the school helped in organized the program properly. The representative of various schools and the onlookers were spell bound with the various activities performed by the students. The exemplary precision of pyramid was a mega event. All these events were followed by the award Ceremony medal and certificates were given to encourage the winners. The grace of the second day was the chairman of Jewar Shri Omprakash Verma. All Pragyan family welcomed him welcome song was sung by the students. After that many events like 100 m., 200 m., 400 m., and 1500 m. races. Skipping race, Lemon spoon race, hopping race, Shuttle race, High jump, long jump etc were conducted. After the completion of these events the winners were awarded by the Honorable chief guest Mr. Om Prakash. On the third day events of primary wing were conducted. Special attraction of the third day were simple race, Lemon Spoon race, Three Leg race, Rolling race, ball race, Biscuit race, ballon race, Lion race, Frog race etc were conducted. The Programme was made successful by the supervision of wing incharges (Ms. Priyanka and Ms. Shalini Gupta) The valedictory function was presided by Mr. Danish of HDFC Bank. In the end school Manager Mr. Harish Sharma advised the students to take keen interest in games. The meet came to close with excellent cultural dance Jai Ho-----and some words from the Principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma, followed by the recitation of National Anthem.
