Description : Workshop on Traffic Awareness Programme 2015 Traffic awareness programme was organized at PPS on 23rd Nov, 2015. About 3hrs. workshop on traffic rules was conducted by the team of expertees (Traffic Police Team) lead by head constable Shri Rakesh Yadav, following the tradition of school the workshop was started by the lighting of lamp before Goddess Saraswati by the Honorable chief guest Shri Dilip Singh ji(CO, Jewar) and traffic police team, Mr. Rakesh Kumar said, "193 members are their in UNO, out of them India is the center of most accidents". About 80% people die due to accidents. He told five causes of accidents, Sleep, Wine, Overspeed, wrong Side and use of mobile while driving. He also said, We should not allow vehicle before he/she is eighteen years. We should always wear helmet. We should not peep out side the window. Shri Rakesh Kumar Ji also said that we should have reflectors in our vehicles to avoid accidents. He gave the causes responsible for accidents i.e., ‘DVRCO’. ‘D’ for drivers fault, ‘V’ for Vehicle problem, ‘R’ for Road that is damaged, ‘C’ for climate (foggy days) and ‘O’ for other causes that are animals like Nilgai, etc. The chief guest Shri Dilip Kumar Ji also addressed the students and gave ‘EEE’ term avoid accidents. ‘E’ means engineering skills which includes length, breath technique of making roads. Second ‘E’ is for education (creating awareness about traffic third ‘E’ is for enforcement (done by police). After this, a pledge was taken by the Principal all the teachers and students to follow traffic rules in their daily life. At last Principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma addressed the students and told them to follow traffic rules. She also promised the members of traffic police that her students will follow all the rules told by them. She thanked all the members for their fruitful workshop. All the teaching staff members of PPS recognized them as a perfect trainer and showed gratitude towards them. Positive effect was seen among the students and teachers.
