Description : JewarMay 30, 2024: On the sixth day of the ongoing Shrimad Bhagwat Katha at Pragyan Public School, Jewar, Katha Vyas Pandit Shri Damodar Prasad Sharma Ji narrated the divine episodes of Maha Raas Leela, Akrur's Arrival, Kans Vadh, Ranchod Leela, Uddhav Charitra, and the marriage of Shri Krishna and Rukmini. The Gopis, adorned in their finest, reached the Yamuna bank and, upon hearing the melodious tune of Krishna's flute, lost themselves in devotion. Their love for Krishna was completely devoid of any lust. Following this, the Lord commenced the Maha Raas.The Katha Vyas elaborated that the Maha Raas Leela of Lord Krishna was so divine that even Lord Shiva participated in it as Gopeshwar. During this episode, devotees swayed in devotion to the bhajans, transforming the entire atmosphere into that of Vrindavan.In the episode of Krishna's departure to Mathura, Akrur Ji came to fetch the Lord. When Lord Krishna was about to leave for Mathura, all the Gopis of Braj stood in front of his chariot, asking, "Oh Kanha, if you had to leave us, why did you make us fall in love with you?"Pandit Damodar Prasad Sharma Ji's narration of the dialogues between Uddhav and the Gopis, the marriage of Shri Krishna and Rukmini, and the Ranchod episode was so devotional that it left the devotees deeply immersed in devotion. The event concluded with the Aarti of Shri Banke Bihari Ji and the distribution of prasad among the devotees.
