Description : 22 May 2024/Inter-house volleyball, chess and taekwondo competitions were organized in Pragyan Public School Jewar. This competition, organized under the guidance of Physical Education Department Head Shri Gajendra Singh Yadav, was inaugurated by the school manager Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma, Principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma and Treasurer Mr. Amol Kumar Sharma. Students of all the houses of the school participated with great enthusiasm in the inter-house sports competition. In these competitions, volleyball competition was organized by Mr. Praveen and Miss Meenakshi, Taekwondo by Mr. Naushad Saifi and Vishal and Chess by Mr. Vinay Kumar. In this competition, Nehru House secured first place in the chess boys category, Gandhi House secured second place. In chess girls category, Tagore House secured first place and Kalam House secured second place. In Taekwondo, Kalam House secured first place and Vivekananda House secured second place. In volleyball, Vivekananda House secured first place and R.K. House secured second place. On this occasion, the school manager Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma also had a dialogue session with the students on the importance of sports, in which the doubts of the students related to sports were resolved. Hon'ble Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma, while highlighting the importance of sports and leadership skills, described sports as an important part of life. He also described sports as an excellent means of promoting physical health as well as maintaining mental and emotional balance. The school's Principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma described sports as an excellent means of learning with teamwork and cooperation. Describing sports as a means of providing positive energy, she motivated the students to participate in sports.
