Description : Students of Pragyan Public School, Jewar have secured their place in the Division Level Culture Utsav-2023 competition by embracing excellence in various genres of music and dance.To enrich the cultural heritage of Uttar Pradesh and make folk art ubiquitous, the state government's program Culture Utsav-2023 competition is being organized at various levels in the state. On 4 January- 2024, in the District Level Culture Utsav-2023 competition at Delhi Public School, Greater Noida, Pragyan's students participated under the guidance of music teachers Mr. Rajendra Nigam, Miss. Ravita Giri. In this Culture Utsav-2023, the chief guest was Mr. Dhirendra Singh ji (Honorable MLA Jewar) and the special guest was Mr. Manish Kumar ji (District Magistrate Gautam Buddha Nagar). The students of Pragyan Public School, Jewar ‘ Krishna and his group’ got first place in group folk song, Bhumika got first place in light voice, Navya got second place, Harshiya got third place, Kanishk got second place in classical singing, ‘Bhumika and her group’ got first place in patriotic group song, group folk dance. Gauri and group got first place in (Haryanvi dance), Sakshi and group got second place in (Rajasthani dance), Purvi got third place in folk dance solo. With this, all these students have been selected for the divisional level competition to be held in Meerut.School Manager Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma, Principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma and Treasurer Mr. Amol Sharma expressed happiness over the excellent performance of the students in the District Level Culture Festival 2023 and being selected for the divisional level . They also wished for their future and inspired them to perform their best at the divisional level.
