Description : Jewer, November 9, 2023 Pragyan Public School, Jewar organized a grand Diwali celebration with grandparents on the eve of Diwali. In the reverance and presence of their grandparents, the little children exhibited vibrant and lively performances .The program was inaugurated by The School's Manager, Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma accompanied by Mrs. Deepti Sharma, Principal of the school, Mr. Amol Kumar Sharma,Treasurer of the school and honorable chief guest Mr.Manoj Kumar Singh (Prabhari Kotwali Jewer). Mr.Vishal Yadav ( SDO Jewer), Mr. Shiv Sagar (J.E.Jewer) and Mr.Tejpal Singh Bhati (Principal of SarvHitkari Inter College ,Dayanatpur) graced the occasion with their presence as special guests.All the guests were given cordial greetings by the school's higher authorities with sapling and souvenirs. All the grandparents present in the premises were also honored with Tulsi plants and souvenirs. In this celebration, children from nursery to class 2 showcased many cultural programs to honour their grandparents. The little children thrilled everyone with their emblazing performances on Ganesh Vandana, welcome song, Sita Rama dance, grandfather's stick dance and many more attractions. In this program, the children conveyed the message of love, brotherhood, peace and harmony. To make the event special ,engrossing games were also organized for the grandparents in which the children's grandparents participated with great euphoria The school's Principal, Mrs. Deepti Sharma, wished everyone a Happy Diwali and highlighted the importance of grandparents and senior citizens in life. She called senior citizens the substratum of an ideal, cultured, and disciplined society. This Diwali celebration was a special event for both the kids and the grans. It was a time for them to come together and celebrate the festival of lights. The children enjoyed performing for their grandparents and the gramps enjoyed watching their grand children perform. It was a day of love, laughter and happiness for everyone involved. The program came to an end with the speech of school's Manager Mr.Harish Kumar Sharma in which he expressed his gratitude to all the guests and senior citizens for visiting the school .He also extolled all the elders to procreate life values in children with their experience and addressed them a lighthouse for a ship lost in ocean.
