Description : From a minor ailment to the more serious injury, a "First Aid Kit" can help reduce the risk of infection. Keeping this in mind, our young Pragyanites of Grade 3 to 5, were given an opportunity to prepare a First Aid Kit in the class. Children displayed remarkable interest and creativity in making and filling their kit. They used simply available materials at home and filled it with important first aid contents such as cotton swabs, antiseptic band aids, thermometer ,hand sanitizer , gloves ,scissors, medical tape, ointments, pain relief sprays, medicines, etc. The children learnt how these medical items can be used to treat minor cuts, burns and scrapes and that first aid box should always be kept clean. They were explained the importance of first aid as it is the emergency care given immediately to an injured person until appropriate medical treatment can be accessed in a hospital or before going to a doctor. This activity helped the children to learn basic first aid skills and was a meaningful new experience for them. This activity was held under the guidance of Ms Archana Pandey, the Incharge of Health and Wellness Club. It was very well executed by the Activity Incharge, Mr Lokesh Saini. Respected Manager Sir, Mr Harish Kumar Sharma and Principal Madam, Ms Deepti Sharma admired the students and said "We are truly impressed by the dedication and skill our students displayed in creating the first aid kits. Your efforts will undoubtedly make our school a safer place."
