Description : 2nd October, 23 Pragyan Public School Jewar celebrated Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri’s birth anniversary on 2nd October, 2023. The ceremony began with offering the floral garlands to Mahatma Gandhi and Lalbahadur Shastri by Honourable Manager Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma and the Principal Ms. Deepti Sharma.On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, children participated enthusiastically.The students sang songs,poems to pay tributes to the freedom fighters. Our teachers also participated like Ms.Ravita Giri sang the song'de di hame ajadi…',Mr.Harishanker remembered Gandhiji by reciting poems in his fond memory, Mr.Sunil described the autobiography of Mahatma Gandhi. Our Principal Ms. Deepti Sharma encouraged the children to follow the path of strength and non-violence as taught by Gandhiji.Speaking on the relevance of Gandhi, she further maintained that the principles of Swadeshi, Swachhta and Sarvodya have become all the more relevant in the present world.All teachers and staff members offered flowers and showed their respect to the great leaders.The celebration ended on the note that Mahatma Gandhi’s principles and ideologies remain relevant even today.We just need to follow and apply his teachings in our lives.
