Description : ' Segregation of Waste' awareness activity was held in Pragyan Public School. Which was conducted by 'Eco Club' for all 5th classes students. This activity was organized in the school hall area. The students made green, red, blue and yellow dustbins and also gave information about their different uses. The main objective of this activity was to comprehend how waste segregation helps to reduce the amount of waste. This activity also develops an understanding about the separation of different types of waste. Also, he explained the need to segregate plastic, paper, glass, and aquatic substances into separate containers. School Manager Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma and Principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma, while appreciating the presentation of the activities of 'waste segregation' she said that it is important to increase the awareness of environmental protection among the students.
