Description : Jewar-15 August 2023 /- Independence Day was celebrated with great zeal and fervor at Pragyan Public School Jewar. The Independence Day celebrations were started with the hoisting of the national flag by Chief Guest Shri Abhay Pratap Singh SDM Jewar and Special Guest Shri Rudra Pratap Singh ACP Jewar. Along with the hoisting of the flag and the presentation of the national anthem, the whole atmosphere echoed with the proclamation of Vande Mataram and Bharat Mata Ki Jai.The auspicious lighting of the Ceremonial Lamp evoked the spirit of oneness, serenity and enlightenment. School Manager Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma and Principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma welcomed the chief guest of the program, Mr. Abhay Pratap Singh, SDM Jewar and special guest, Mr. Rudra Pratap Singh, ACP, Jewar by presenting them with saplings and bouquets.On this occasion, a competition of music and plays based on patriotism among the 6 houses of school were also organized. In the patriotic music competition, the students of Gandhi house performed 'Mera Rang De Basanti Chola', the students of Kalam house performed 'Ahilya Bai', the students of Nehru house performed 'Teri Mitti Mein Mil Jawa', the students of Radhakrishnan house presented the song 'Kesari ,Desh Mera and O Gujarne Wali Hawa' by the students of Tagore house and 'Utho Desh Ke Veer Jawano' by the students of Vivekananda house. Along with this, the students of Gandhi house presented 'Shaheed Ramprasad 'Bismil', the students of Kalam house 'Ahilya Bai', the students of Nehru house 'Shaheed Vikram Batra', the students of Radhakrishnan house presented 'Life of Soldier', the students of Tagore house 'All Soldier Life', and the students of Vivekananda house displayed 'The Revenge of Martyr Udhamsingh'. The atmosphere was imbued with patriotism . Various cultural programs of songs and music filled with patriotism were also presented by the young children of pre-primary. On this occasion, children presented Saraswati-Vandana, Welcome Song , Poem recitation, Jhansi Wali Rani dance, O Desh Mere dance and short skits based on the life of freedom fighters and Jallianwala Bagh incident. In this cultural presentation, students remembered the country's independence and depicted its important events. Along with this, the students also shared information about the great heroes. Through this program the students got a chance to express their sense of patriotism and dedication towards the freedom fighters. On this occasion, Chief Guest Mr. Abhay Pratap Singh SDM Jewar congratulated the school management for playing a positive role in the society along with education while wishing everyone a happy Independence Day. He asked everyone to discharge their responsibilities in the interest of the nation, taking inspiration from the auspicious day of Independence Day and understanding the true meaning of freedom. School manager Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma, wishing everyone on the occasion of the country's 77th Independence Day, said that it is important to develop the spirit of unity and cooperation among the people for the all-round development of the country. Principal of the school Mrs. Deepti Sharma wished everyone a happy Independence Day. On this occasion, she said that the culture of harmony and coordination in the society is important to keep the country's integrity intact.
