Description : “Music expresses that cannot be put into words and that cannot remain silent” An Inter-House Group Singing Competition was organized on Monday, 14th August 2017 on the account of Independence day at Pragyan Public School for classes III- XII. Hon’ble Shri Brijesh Kumar Sab Registrar,Jewar and Shri Hon’ble shri Jagat Ram Joshi C.O. Jewar and Mr.Sunil Sharma ,Technical advisor Pragyan Public School were graced the occasion as special guests . Audition round was held and children were selected from the respective houses by the music teacher before the practice of competition. The songs reminded us of our patriotic spirit, our cultural and heritage. It was such a wonderful performances that the audience were convinced that great efforts were taken to present it. . The entire school premises reverberated with the rhythmic beats of many patriotic songs that was performed by the students of five Houses.The performance of the student spell bounded the spectators .The judgment was initiated by the Judges (Mrs. Deepti Sharma Principal , Pragyan Public School Jewar, Mr.Sunil Sharma Technical Advisor, Pragyan Public School , Mr. Shailendra Singh , Head of QAID).The Competition was organized into three categories one is solo classical song ,2nd one is Hindi patriotic in Group and 3rd one is English Hymn in Group. In solo classical Tagore House ( Kasish Class) got first position, Vivekanand House ( Shivani ) got second position & Gandhi House & Radha krishnan House (Jagrati & Hira Rashid) got third position. In Hindi Patriotic Group song Tagore House got Ist Position, Nehru House Got IInd Position & Radha krishnan House got IIIrd Position. In English Hymn in Group Vivekananda House & Radha Krishnan House got Ist Position, Tagore House and Nehru House Got IInd Position & Gandhi House got IIIrd Position. The selection process was extremely difficult for the judges. Whole competition was organized in under the guidance of Mr. Rajendra Nigam(Activity Incharge). The program came to a close with the speech of our Special Guest Shri Brijesh Kumar ji who motivated the students & blessed them for their bright future and Shree Jagat Ram ji in his speech lauded the singing talent of the students and advocated that music plays an instrumental role in inculcating humane virtues and getting rid of vices and social evils. The children earnestly participated in the competition. This fun filled activity witnessed an enthusiastic participation of the students. After that Honorable principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma proposed a vote of thanks and she also lauded the efforts of various teachers and congratulated the team of students for their inspired participation.
