Description : P.P.S.Jewar:4th April 2023. The birth anniversary of Lord Mahavira, the 24th Tirthankar - Prophet of Jains, was celebrated with great fervor in the school. A special assembly was organized in the school where students learnt about the life and noble teachings of Bhagwan Mahavira. The young impressionable minds recited a melodious song based on the life of Lord Mahavira. They also took a pledge to live a righteous life and follow the ethical principles of Jainism. The school Principal Mrs Deepti Sharma greeted all the students and teachers on this auspicious day.She emphasized that we all should follow the ideals and principles of Bhagwan Mahavira which include Ahimsa- causing no harm to living beings, Satya- to speak the truth, Asteya - not to possess the things that do not belong to you, Brahmacharya - not to indulge in sensual pleasures and Aparigraha - not to get attached to material things. The assembly culminated with melodious peace prayers sung by the school choir.
