Pragyan Public School Jewar 20th March,23 A workshop for teachers was held in Pragyan Public School on 20th March,2023. The topic was "Active learning Strategies". The resource person was Ms. Deepali Singh Certified academic auditor ,educator and researcher She has worked on designed curriculum, instructions, school programs, events to empower educators and non-teaching staff. The Manager of Pragyan Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma and the Principal Ms. Deepti Sharma welcomed Ms. Deepali singh by presenting her a sapling. Ms. Deepali Singh stated that active teaching and active teaching strategies refer to students with different abilities to grasp fundamental knowledge in the mainstream education system.on this occasion chief resource person Mrs. Deepali Singh explained the methods of active learning through various activities. She explained various methods of teaching like Mind Map, Fryer Model, Four Corners, Bio, Poetry etc. through various activities in almost all subjects ,with place value of Mathematics subject, highest number knowledge.In the workshop Ms. Deepali Singh suggested the modification in the curriculum and study material for active learning. She also emphasized on the modification in classroom environment,peer tutoring and use of groups in learning. She advised organizing many activities based on TPS (think , pair, share), concentric circle, pair activities, perfect partner for different learners so that students problems can be addressed in class at their own pace. She also suggested the teachers to provide students with a comfortable learning environment. On this occasion, the manager of the school Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma and Principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma thanked the resource person Ms. Deepali Singh for organizing the workshop on the topic 'Active Learning Methodology' in the school. At the same time, she inspired all the teachers to work for improving the study level of the students by adding active learning method in their teaching system.
