Description : Basant Panchmi marks the beginning of the spring season. The festival of spring was traditionally celebrated with full vivacity and joy in Pragyan Public School, Jewar on 26th January 2023 with great devotion. On this occasion Honourable Manager Mr.Harish Sharma and the Principal, Ms.Deepti Sharma along with all the staff members and senior students assembled together to seek blessings from the divine Goddess of knowledge and wisdom, Maa Saraswati. Keeping the tradition of inculcating values in today’s modern times, the school organized a havan to venerate Goddess Saraswati and invoke her blessings. The children devotionally rendered the “Saraswati Vandana” as they implored the goddess to bestow the gift of knowledge and wisdom on them and all those associated with the institution. The pooja ended with the ‘Arti’ and the distribution of ‘Prasad’ As part of the activity for the day, the significance of Basant Panchami was explained to the students.Its association with the yellow colour, the blooming of mustard flowers and the arrival of spring were also elaborated to them.The Principal of the school Ms.Deepti Sharma motivated the students to be progressive learners, setting big goals and putting dedicated efforts.
