Description : 27 December 2022 / Pragyan Public School Jewar welcomed alumnus and Para Olympian (silver medalist in high jump and awarded Arjuna Award) Praveen Kumar wholeheartedly. Praveen Kumar bagged awards in 'IWas World Games Event' in Portugal which was organised from 26 November 2022 to 29 November 2022. By winning three medals, he brought laurels to the school, region, state and country. In this international event, Praveen Kumar won gold medal in 100 meter race, silver medal in long jump and gold medal in high jump with his best performance. After returning from Portugal, Praveen Kumar reached Pragyan Public School Jewar, along with his family and took blessings from the school's manager Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma and Principal Mrs. Deepti Sharma and received appreciation from them for his success. The manager of School, Mr. Harish Kumar Sharma expressed his heartfelt gratitude for winning of three medals by Praveen Kumar in 'Iwas world games event' and blessed him to motivate and achieve success in continuation.Praveen Kumar also took blessings of other teachers along with the teachers of Physical Education Department. The principal of school, Mrs. Deepti Sharma motivated Praveen Kumar by complementing him as the rarest diamond of the sports, inspired him to do his best to continuously illuminate the name of the country.
