Description : P.P.S JEWAR, ,22nd November 2022.The United Nations Sustainable Development Agenda, adopted in 2015, includes seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to be achieved by 2030. Countries around the world have committed to taking action to meet these goals, such as making energy clean and affordable, stopping global warming, ending hunger and poverty, and creating sustainable cities and communities. Pragyan Public School, jewar that always leads from the front to bear all kinds of responsibilities in creating engaging classrooms, raising awareness of global issues, and inspiring students and teachers to take action, also acknowledged this vital global issue and the Principal Mrs Deepti Sharma addressed the students and teachers on this subject in the morning assembly today. In her address, she emphasized that we all must encourage students to be active participants in their local and global communities to solve the biggest challenges the world faces today. When students become global leaders and have an appreciation for cultural differences, they see themselves as citizens of the world and take responsibility to enact change on a global scale. The senior members of the students council took the responsibility to work for GENDER EQUALITY while the junior council of students bore the responsibility to spread awareness about GOOD HEALTH & WELL BEING. The morning assembly was quite informative and enlightening.
