Description : "Simple exchanges can break walls down between us,for when people come together and meet with each other and share their common experiences" Pragyan Public School, Jewar had a Student Exchange Program under the aegis of UNESCO.In this ,18 Students along with their Principal Ms.Deepti Sharma and teachers Ms.Bosky Singh (PGT Eng), Ms.Kavita Sinha( PGT Eng), Mr.Devesh Maheshwari (TGTMaths),Mr.JM (TGT S.ST) and Mr.Vivek (Dance) visited Ongole,Guntur and Vijaywada in Andhra Pradesh to celebrate Silver Jubilee of UNESCO branch of Guntur. This journey continued from 2nd November to 8th November 2022. For the first two days teachers and students had arrangement of staying in Next Gen International School in Ongole. On 4th November the students conferred Academic Presentation on various subjects like English, Science, Maths and S.St .They showcased their ways of learning through art integration, project work and learning by doing.The students presented very confidently and fantabulously. On the same day they had a pleasure trip to Kothapatnam sea beach in Ongole .This is beautiful beach with lot of waves and they all enjoyed the beauty of the sea.On the same day the students also enjoyed Horse Riding. Next day i.e. on 5th November our students as well as Next gen students displayed cultural program in which they exhibited their state's culture,tradition and language. Our students Prashant ,Yash accompanied by their dance teacher Mr.Vivek presented Telugu song and dance grabbing attention of everyone present there. On the same day the students along with teachers and Principal visited Jyothi Quartz Surfaces which is the only one producer of granite slabs in India which inturn is exported to USA.The students were given all information by the guide provided to them there.At night they enjoyed Camp Fire in which both schools presented magnificently .On 6th November, Pragyan's students and teachers visited Guntur where there was a felicitation program of UNESCO in which all the dignitaries were honoured and awarded.The President of Guntur UNESCO Association Mr.Parmeshwar Rao arranged all these formalities.Pragyan Public School Principal Ms.Deepti Sharma was awarded with momento and shawl.She delivered a speech and thanked UNESCO'S head members for giving this opportunity. The students enjoyed the Andhra dishes . The students visited many temples in Andhra Pradesh like Amrawati temple,Venkateshwara temple,Satya Sai baba temple in Ongole (Andhra Pradesh) , Buddha stupa and Narsimha Lakshmi Narayan temple in Manglagiri and finally Durga Kanak temple in Vijayawada .They learnt about the history of the temples , its architecture and noted important structures. On 8th November,Additional Superintendent of Police(Retd.) Mr. Kalahasti Satyanarayana arranged felicitation program for the Principal Ms.Deepti Sharma along with students and teachers.He presented them National Integration Coin and also arranged delicious breakfast comprising dishes of Andhra Pradesh. On the same day the students had a campus tour in Next Gen International School in Guntur.They interacted with the students, shared their experiences and enthralled to see the diversity of the campus.The faculties of both the schools also had an interaction .One more school they visited was Nandi School in Guntur.There also they explored and learnt various things.Apart from these they also visited Krishna River ,Mallavaram Dam and did shopping over there. The success of this program lay in the team work of all the faculty & the students of Pragyan Public School .We congratulate them for their efforts and sincerity .This exposure enriched their academic profile and their confidence level. Really the Student Exchange Program was a fantastic experience.
